The Human Resources Office coordinates at least three blood drives are held in the fall, winter and spring. The drives are generally held in the Plaza Rooms in the Student Center and are usually two days in duration. Everyone is welcome to participate.

Appointments to give blood may be made by telephoning (516) 463-7442. There is provision for walk-in donors as well.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must have valid ID and know SS#
  • Minimum weight 110 lbs.
  • Between 17-75 years of age
  • No tattoos in past 12 months
