Administrative Employees
Administrators are employed in various executive, supervisory and administrative positions. Administrators are not covered by any of the University's collective bargaining agreements, and administrators are employed on an at-will basis. At-will employment means that the University may terminate an administrative employee at any time with our without cause and with or without notice. The University also retains the right to reassign administrative job responsibilities in the University's discretion.
Hofstra University's employment policies regarding administrative employees are subject to modification with or without notice at any time in the sole discretion of the University. No one is authorized to provide any administrator with an employment contract or special arrangement concerning terms or conditions of employment unless the contract or arrangement is in writing and signed by the President of the University.
These policies do not form a contract of any kind and can be modified at the discretion of Hofstra University or in accordance with the law without notice.
