Welcome to Hofstra University’s Office of Financial Affairs. The Office of Financial Affairs provides oversight to the central finance functions of the University – accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, investments and debt management, procurement and payroll services, and the oversight of the University’s internal controls systems and environment.
The Office of Financial Affairs is segregated into the following components:
- Controllers’ Office, responsible for accounts payable, payroll, grants management and tax issues;
- Business Affairs, includes contract management, debt management, capital budgeting, insurance and procurement;
- Treasury Operations, provides oversight to cash and long-term investment management; and
- Budget Office, responsible for preparation and monitoring of operating budget activity.
