The Computer Support Center can help you with general computer, network connectivity and account problems.

Is your computer broken or infected with a virus or spyware? The Computer Repair Center can provide assistance with both software and hardware problems.

Open Access Labs

Provides access to hundreds of applications so you won't have to buy software.

We provide you with a free copy of Microsoft Office Professional.

Each student receives 120.00 print credits each year.

Portal

The Hofstra Portal is your personal section of the Hofstra website where you can access all your information in one location. Just a few of the services available through the Hofstra Portal include access to the Student Gmail system, MyFiles network storage, Blackboard course management system, Library online databases and the Hofstra Online Information System.

Employment Opportunities

Student Computing Services (SCS) hires and trains students for technical support and learning support positions. Those interested can download, fill out and drop off an application in the SCS Support Center, 125B Axinn Library (rear of Hammer lab).
