In the coming months, Hofstra will introduce a new strategic plan beginning with a renewed mission statement and a reinforcement of its core values. As a joint effort among students, staff, faculty, and alumni, Hofstra’s strategic plan will target four main areas: interdisciplinary and new academic programs, community engagement, student success, and organizational agility. Four committees will provide recommendations of measurable goals and implementation steps that will position the University for continued thriving and success over the next decade.
The new Strategic Plan will introduce a renewed mission statement and solidify Hofstra's core values.

What's Next
During the spring 2024 semester, broadly based committees of faculty, administrators and students will consider how to advance the mission in four strategic areas: interdisciplinarity, community engagement, student success, and organizational agility. Committees will examine current programs and structures, best practices, and how to leverage Hofstra’s distinctive strengths to meet our ambitions. They will recommend a set of measurable goals and implementation steps that will guide University efforts over the next three to ten years.
