The Department of Political Science in Hofstra University’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences offers students a comprehensive education in government, political behavior, public policy, and political theory, both domestic and international. Thanks to an accomplished faculty and a well-established internship program, the department helps students gain a clearer understanding of the political forces constantly at work all around them. The Political Science department also houses minors in Public Affairs, International Affairs, and European Studies.
