Effective marketing decision-making requires that marketers understand consumers. The Department of Marketing & International Business teaches students how to better understand consumers from multiple perspectives, with a strong emphasis placed on teaching tools applied in various functional specialties in marketing, as well as on strategic decision-making, enabling graduates to pursue careers in product management, retailing, advertising, market research, direct marketing, E-commerce, wholesaling, and sales.
In a dynamic global environment that affects every aspect of international and domestic companies, it is critical that business students are exposed to the complexities and challenges faced by these companies. The international business program at the Zarb School of business provides the critical thinking and the analytical tools to understand and operate in an ever changing global environment.
