Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy

Qualify for licensure in New York state and jumpstart your career as a counseling professional with a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT). This 54-credit degree program features dynamic, practice-based courses led by dedicated faculty who are with you every step of the way. Gain the skills necessary to work with couples and families to explore and improve conflict resolution in their relationships. You’ll receive intensive academic and clinical training through your classes and an integrated internship that’s completed at the on-campus Counseling and Mental Health Professions Clinic. Courses for the marriage and family therapy master’s program are offered during fall and spring semesters, as well as three summer sessions and a January session.
