Graduate Admission Events

Welcome to our graduate admissions event page. We offer a variety of on-campus and virtual events throughout the year, including open houses, online chats, and program-specific info sessions and webinars. At these events, you can learn more about our graduate degree offerings, admissions criteria, and application process.  Of course, if you would prefer, you can always call us at 1-866-GRAD-HOF to schedule a one-on-one admissions consultation with one of the deans.

Online Chat

** Check back here on the second Thursday of each month to log in to our online chat.

    Log in to our monthly online chats with the Graduate Admissions staff to ask any questions you might have about programs of study or the application process. These chats will take place on the second Thursday of each month. You do not have to pre-register for an online chat. You can join a chat by clicking on the "Chat now" link that will appear the day of the chat.

Online chat for International Students

    At this event, you will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from the School of Education; School of Health Sciences and Human Services; School of Engineering and Applied Sciences; Frank G. Zarb School of Business; Hofstra College of Liberal Arts and Sciences; School of Communication; and the Office of Graduate Admissions.  Have your program-specific questions answered, learn about the application and financial aid process, and have your application fee waived.

    If you’re not ready to make the jump into a master’s- or doctoral-level program but you want to get started, you will have the chance to enroll on-site as a non-matriculated student.  As a non-matriculated student, you may complete up to 12 credits before enrolling in a degree program.  Please note that non-matriculated status is not available to international, Zarb School of Business, psychology, or counseling students.

    Refreshments will be served.
