Whether you are a prospective student, an applicant or an accepted student, Hofstra's Transfer Center will ensure that the transfer process goes smoothly. Schedule an appointment with a Transfer Admission Counselor as well as an Academic Advisement Dean to discuss Hofstra's transfer process and learn how to make your transition into the Hofstra community as successful as possible.

SCHEDULING AN APPOINTMENT
Transfer Center appointments are available on a daily basis. Please call our Office of Admission at 516-463-6700 for the full schedule and to reserve your appointment. We also welcome you to take part in an information session and campus tour before or after your appointment.

MEETING WITH A TRANSFER ADMISSION COUNSELOR
In your meeting with a Hofstra Transfer Admission Counselor you will receive a preliminary transfer credit evaluation determining the number of credits that will transfer to Hofstra. You will also have the opportunity to receive more information regarding the transfer process, life as a Hofstra student and how to make your transition as smooth as possible.

MEETING WITH AN ACADEMIC ADVISEMENT DEAN
Following the meeting with your Transfer Admission Counselor you will have the opportunity to meet with an Academic Advisement Dean. In this meeting you will be informed of how your credits will apply to your Hofstra degree and have the opportunity to ask any questions pertaining to your desired major or degree program.

WHAT TO BRING
In order to ensure an informative Transfer Center appointment, please remember to bring copies of transcripts from all previously attend institutions and any course descriptions or additional documentation that may be needed to successfully evaluate your prior coursework.
