Have You Checked Out GetInvolvedHU?

GetInvolvedHU is a database that chronicles student organization profiles, membership rosters, budgets, and events, as well as other engagement opportunities from around campus. All student clubs and organizations must be registered with updated information on CL in order to be recognized by the university as a student group. This includes fraternities and sororities, all SGA-sponsored organizations, sports clubs, academic and graduate student organizations. A new registration period will be open to all student organizations at the start of each academic year where club leaders will be required to update their organization profiles. All club communication will be through GetInvolvedHU to ensure that you are checking the events, announcements, and opportunities posted daily!

Students wishing to join a club or organization can send a request through GIHU.

To register as a Student:

  1. Log into the Portal
  2. Navigate to the top right hand side of the page and the Apps Tray
  3. Then Click on 'GetInvovledHU'
  4. Follow the steps for registration
  5. Once registered, browse GetInvolvedHU for opportunities to get involved!

To register your Club or Organization:

  1. Register yourself as a student
  2. Sign in to GetInvolvedHU through your PORTAL
  3. Click ‘Organizations’ (2nd on top list next to ‘Home’ tab)
  4. Look for ‘Register a New Organization’
  5. Click ‘Register’
  6. Follow the steps for registration
  7. Once registered, use GetInvolvedHU to market your events, communicate with your members, post announcements to your wall, track your budget, upload photos of your organization, and more!

As you begin to register your club the system automatically saves your information. In the event you have to exit the page prior to completing the club registration, do the following to access and continue:

  1. On the Home page click ‘My Involvement’ (4th on top next to ‘Home’ tab)
  2. Look for ‘My Submissions’ (Left column) and click
  3. Click ‘Organization Registrations’ (3rd tab)
  4. Click ‘View’ on the relevant club or organization
  5. Edit accordingly
