Hofstra CE's Paralegal Studies Certificate Program prepares students for this dynamic field, which will add 39,000 positions in law firms, corporations, banks, insurance companies, government agencies and courts by 2028 (Bureau of Labor Statistics). Obtaining a Paralegal Studies Certificate can also pave the way to law school and a career as an attorney. The 306-hour program is approved by the American Bar Association and all courses are taught by caring faculty who are professionals in the legal field. Hofstra CE offers flexible class schedules, with day or evening programs -- and you can finish your coursework within seven months!

The Paralegal Studies Certificate Program will also show students the specific substantive and procedural aspects of New York law to ensure success in the field within the Metropolitan area. Plus, Hofstra University has the famed 593,830-volume Deane Law Library, which students will have access to as you they study. After graduation, Hofstra CE continues helping students with various career services, including resume writing instruction, interviewing techniques and how to develop an effective job search plan. The Paralegal Studies Department receives job postings on a regular basis and these are forwarded to graduates.

Admission Requirements
A minimum of 60 college credits or an Associate's Degree. To apply to this program, submit a completed Non-Credit Paralegal Certificate Application with the application fee.
