Pride Prowl - Hofstra Travel Camp
(Entering Grades 2-10)
A daily, travel-based adventure camp exploring off-site destinations across the New York metropolitan area.
Pride Prowl offers campers the opportunity to experience a variety of off-campus
destinations
through guided day trips. Each day, the Hofstra bus departs campus for a different
site,
accompanied by experienced camp directors and staff.
Tuition includes all admission fees, lunch, and round-trip transportation between
Hofstra
University and each destination.

Nassau BOCES Outdoor Exploration
(Entering Grades 6-11)
Environmental and outdoor exploration programs based in natural settings across Long Island.
Nassau BOCES Outdoor Exploration programs are full-day, experiential learning
opportunities
held at Caumsett State Historic Park and the Nassau BOCES Brookville
Environmental
Center.
Programs focus on environmental exploration, outdoor skills, and hands-on
learning
in
natural settings.
Programs are supervised by Nassau BOCES instructors and staff, with
transportation support provided by Hofstra Summer Camps.
- Transportation is provided; campers may also be dropped off directly at the site
- Lunch is not provided and must be brought from home
