Welcome To Creative Computers Camp 2012
For Girls and Boys Entering Grades 2-5 (Morning Specialty)
Session 1: July 2 - 13
Session 2: July 16 - 27
Hofstra’s Creative Computers specialty teaches campers how to think outside the box! Campers expand their knowledge of software, learning new skills that will advance them in this ever-expanding technological world and turning their creativity into expertise. The class allows campers to explore computers beyond their formal applications, encouraging campers’ own interests and individual development. Campers learn various computer skills, including digital photography editing and introductory computer language programming. Using applications such as Adobe Photoshop, Scratch computer programming, Google SketchUp, and Google Earth, campers use the same tools used by industry professionals to produce real and fun results! At the end of every two-week session, each camper’s work is copied to a customized CD for family and friends to view and enjoy.
Note: There is a $40 surcharge per session for additional materials and staff requirements.

Technically skilled with computers, design applications, 3-D, animation, video games, computer programming, and various technology. More than 10 years of experience as a visual artist. Two years experience at Hofstra Specialty Camps.
