Welcome To Web Publishing Camp 2012
For Girls and Boys Entering Grades 6-9

Hofstra’s Web Publishing specialty, which combines creative writing, arts and digital media, teaches campers, utilizing professional tools such as WordPress (for blog development), Google Pages (for website development), Photoshop (for photo editing application) and Dreamweaver (website editor)! Introducing an outlet for website building allows students to take control of their online presence. The students are taught safe Internet behavior and apply this knowledge when editing personal output before publishing to their websites. They are given the opportunity to create their own content and structure through uploading their writing and art. At the end of every two-week session, each camper’s work is copied to a customized CD for family and friends to view and enjoy

Technically skilled with computers, design applications, 3-D, animation, video games, computer programming, and various technology. More than 10 years of experience as a visual artist. Two years experience at Hofstra Specialty Camps.
