Room 246, East Wing Library
ALL STUDENTS AND FACULTY ARE INVITED
The Computer Science Department and the Career Center at Hofstra University are pleased to invite you to participate in the Computing Entrepreneurship Networking Evening. The evening will be attracting undergraduate or graduate computing students seeking internships, or jobs. It is the first such initiative at Hofstra University that targets students in computing. Students will interact closely with employers from the computing industry, including start-ups. Students looking for internships or jobs should bring their resume and portfolio or they can present posters highlighting their most interesting projects. Company representatives will make short presentations as well.
CS and CE students can receive technical elective credits for internships. Furthermore, the department is launching two new programs in Entrepreneurship in the Computing Industry starting in Fall 2009 that include internship courses with start-ups (for a full description of the entrepreneurship programs, please visit www.hofstra.edu/csentrepreneur) .
