To earn this valuable degree you will need to complete the requirements established by Hofstra's Faculty and Staff.

Hofstra University will consider students for graduation and conferral of a Master of Science in Computer Science when they have met the general requirements for graduation and when they:

  • Complete a minimum of 30 semester hours of credit.
  • Complete the prescribed course of study for the online Master of Science in Computer Science with a minimum grade point average in overall graduate course work of 3.0.
  • Students must complete courses from four areas: Fundamental Courses (9 semester hours), Breadth Courses (6 hours), Applied Courses (12 hours), Capstone Experience (3 hours).
