Graduation Requirements

Hofstra University will consider students for graduation and conferral of a Master of Science in Computer Science when they have met the general requirements for graduation and when they:

• Complete a minimum of 30 semester hours of credit.
• Complete the prescribed course of study for the Master of Science in Computer Science with a minimum grade point average in overall graduate course work of 3.0.
• Students must complete courses from three areas: Fundamental Courses (9 semester hours), Selected Elective Courses (12 hours), Capstone Experience (3 hours).
