Unprecedented Support

You are Never Alone, Support is Just a Phone Call or E-mail Away

Online Learning | Course Delivery | System Requirements | Support

Hofstra distance learning programs were created with working professionals in mind. We realize you will need a great many resources to help manage your career, your home life and the requirements of your degree. Upon entering the program you will discover the high levels of instruction and support available. For many students, these resources are a vital part of successfully completing their degree program.

Hofstra offers several levels of academic, technical, and administrative support. So you may have only come into contact with your Enrollment Advisor who guides you through the enrollment process, but the support will not end there. Once you begin the program you will find tremendous support from the Course Instructor, Professional Facilitator, Program Manager, fellow peers, e-learning Helpdesk support, and student services. Each course that you take is set up so you interact with a small group of your peers and with the support and assistance of a professional facilitator. A University faculty member will deliver course instruction and oversee the course as a whole to ensure your overall success in the program

Your Hofstra support team includes the following:

  • Your Course Instructor is responsible for the course design and ensuring that your learning needs are being met
  • Your Program Manager is available to aid you with any administrative needs you may have
  • Your Fellow Peers will be interacting with you regularly in your small learning group
  • Student Services are only a phone call away should you ever need assistance
