Health Studies and Kinesiology

Welcome to the Department of Health Studies and Kinesiology Web site. We offer a variety of undergraduate and graduate professional preparation programs designed to provide rich learning experiences that will enable students to become highly skilled scholar-practitioners. The health professions programs prepare individuals for leadership positions in health care management, health promotion and disease prevention, and health education. The kinesiology programs prepare individuals to become reflective physical education teachers, athletic trainers, exercise specialists, and adventure educators.
