- Health Studies and Kinesiology
The mission of the Health Studies and Kinesiology Department is to prepare scholarly and highly skilled practitioners who have current knowledge and resources to identify and meet the present and future needs of their constituents. The department offers undergraduate programs in athletic training, community health, exercise science, health science, health education, and physical education, and graduate programs in health administration, physical education, community health, health education, and sports science. The department also offers a certificate in adventure education. -
- Special Education
The Department of Counseling, Research, Special Education, and Rehabilitation (CRSR) is dedicated to the education and preparation of counselors, special educators, and therapists who can function effectively as professionals in diverse settings and with individuals with diverse backgrounds and needs. -
- Teaching, Literacy and Leadership (TLL)
The Department of Teaching, Literacy and Leadership (TLL) is committed to preparing reflective teachers and leaders for complex educational organizations in diverse, multicultural environments. It is composed of three interrelated programs in the School of Education. These include teaching, literacy studies and leadership.
