The Hofstra Cultural Center, acclaimed internationally for its academic contributions in such fields as art, music, literature, history, science, philosophy, popular culture and drama, celebrates its third decade. One of the series for which the Hofstra Cultural Center is best known for is its Presidential Conferences.

Beginning in 1982 with FDR: The Man, The Myth, The Era: 1882-1945, the conferences have brought together scholars from a wide variety of fields, journalists, former government officials and in some cases the former Presidents themselves to subjectively discuss the policies and issues of the various presidencies.

On the George Bush: Leading in a New World page, there is a link to a .pdf of the final program from that conference which will give readers a good idea of what typical Hofstra Cultural Center Presidential Conferences are like.

The 11th Presidential Conference, William Jefferson Clinton: The "New Democrat" From Hope was presented by the Hofstra Cultural Center November 10, 11 and 12, 2005.
