Since the first presidential conference on Franklin Delano Roosevelt in 1982, the Hofstra Presidential Conference series has attracted renowned scholars, government leaders, policy-makers, and, of course, journalists from around the world. We are all tremendously excited to once again host such a distinguished group for the eleventh in the series of Presidential Conferences: William Jefferson Clinton: The "New" Democrat from Hope.
Our goal, both before and during the conference, is to assist you in covering the panels and speeches, the former policy-makers in attendance and the many original works of scholarship being presented. There will be facilities and services dedicated to assisting the press, and we welcome you to take advantage of our hospitality.
I hope you will join us for this very exciting conference, and that your visit at Hofstra University will be pleasant. I look forward to meeting you.
Sincerely,
Melissa Kane Connolly
