Welcome To Bioengineering/Forensic Science Camp 2013
For Girls and Boys Entering Grades 6-9
Session 2: July 15 - July 26
The Bioengineering/Forensic Science Summer Camp is a unique dual 5-day experience for students entering the 6th to 9th grade. During camp, students will learn how bioengineers are tackling various diseases and immerse themselves in the field of forensic science. Together with bioengineering faculty, staff, and students, campers will participate in a hands-on environment that will explore cardiac mechanics, tissue engineering, forensic anthropology, crime scene reconstruction and much more.
Camp Objectives
Throughout the balance of the course, students are put through various laboratory exercises that relate to the analysis of specific types of evidence. Topics covered may include:
Note: There is a $50 surcharge per session for additional materials and staff requirements.
