Sports Beat - Made in 2002, this show includes discussions with a panel of Hofstra student sports enthusiasts about the exciting life of Hofstra sports. The show also features interviews with Hofstra sports members.


Hofstra News Now

Broadcast journalism majors in JRNL 75 research, write, shoot and produce this program that focuses on news and feature stories from around Hofstra's campus.

Hofstra Today - Created in 2011, this 30 minute morning news cast covers both university and national news.


Director's Cut Director's Cut

Director's Cut - Created in 2007, this show showcases many Hofstra student films and their creators as well as preview films created by the Hofstra Filmmakers Club.

Her Campus is the leading online magazine for college women written entirely by the world’s top college journalists.  With more than 4,000 contributors and counting, Her Campus has content sharing arrangements with HuffPost, Self, USA Today, and Seventeen.  Writers for the Hofstra University chapter have gone onto successful careers in dozens of major consumer magazines.

The Long Island Report Long Island Report

The Long Island Report is a multi-media news organization run entirely by Hofstra University students. Students gain valuable real-world experience producing news and features for the web. Students learn how to work with text, images, video, audio, flash objects, html and social media as they create this multi-media content.


Pulse MagazinePulse

Pulse, formerly The Communicator, is a student-run magazine at Hofstra University. All reporting, writing, editing, photography, lay out, web development and promotion for the magazine is done by the students in the Department of Journalism, Media Studies and Public Relations.

Hofstra Film Club is the Herbert School of Communication's student-operated college film production club. The Hofstra Film Club submits original films to different festivals to showcase their talents. Membership is open to all students who are genuinely interested in film production.
