NAICU represents private, nonprofit higher education institutions in relation to public policy and government affairs topics. It also publishes research and policy guidance for the benefit of member institutions.

The Annual Institutional Update (AIU) is a required annual reporting process used by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education to monitor member institutions’ key data in support of accreditation reviews.
