Nilla Park is the Associate Dean of Financial Planning and Administration and in this role, she ensures the effective management of financial resources and provides strategic guidance for financial planning initiatives. Nilla received her BA in Political Science and Economics from Wellesley College and an MBA in Finance and Strategic Management from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. With a strong personal interest in education, she has also taken graduate courses in social studies education at Teachers College, Columbia University. Nilla comes to Hofstra after a long career in corporate finance working at companies such as Cablevision, American Express, and Time Warner (now WarnerMedia). She grew up in Syosset and now lives in Great Neck with two daughters, Avery and Katie, and an English Bulldog named Maggie.

Signe G. Aguirre joined Hofstra University in January 2025 as the Director of Operations for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. She is responsible for managing administrative operations within the Dean’s Office and works with faculty and staff to support process improvement and the implementation of college-wide initiatives.She holds a master’s degree in Native American Languages and Cultures from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. Her professional experience includes roles in both the museum sector and the corporate world, where she focused on operations, workflow management, and organizational systems.Aguirre’s work at Hofstra supports the academic and administrative functions of the college through coordination, planning, and operational oversight.In addition to her administrative role, she is also a ceramic artist.
