The Hofstra University Bioethics Center is directed by Professor Janet Dolgin, Dr. Samuel Packer, and Professor Renee McLeod-Sordjan. The interdisciplinary team of participating faculty includes those from Hofstra’s law, medical, and business schools, as well as others from the School of Education, Health and Human Services and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.


MA in Bioethics

A dynamic, part-time Masters’ Degree program for working professionals and pre-professionals in law, medicine, nursing, healthcare and related fields.

Certificate Program

Clinical Bioethics

The nine-month program teaches bioethics through the lens of medicine, law, and narrative.
