Our professors are award-winning, active teacher-performers. You may have seen them perform at Birdland, Brooklyn Philharmonic, Carnegie Hall, Metropolitan Opera, New York Philharmonic, San Francisco Opera, on Broadway, and stages around the world. And the coordinator of our music business program is a record label veteran credited with discovering and signing Grammy Award-winning artist John Legend.

Billboard magazine recognized Hofstra University’s Music Business program in its 2022 roundup of the “Best Music Business Schools” in the U.S. This is the fourth time since 2016 that Music Business at Hofstra has been recognized by Billboard’s roundup of top programs.
