Current Accreditations
All Hofstra Northwell School of Nursing programs are recognized by the New York State Education Department’s Office of the Professions.
The baccalaureate degree program in nursing, master's degree program in nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice program and post-graduate APRN certificate programs at Hofstra University are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
The Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), Doctorate of Nursing Practice program has been granted specialty accreditation through the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA). The Hofstra Northwell Graduate Program in Nurse Anesthesia provides graduate level curriculum leading to the award of a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Nurse Anesthesia degree.
