Summer Camp Facilities
Hofstra Summer Camps provides campers with an unparalleled summer experience. Campers are immersed in their program of choice through hands-on learning in any of our incredible facilities, on or off campus.

Facilities for Hofstra Classic Day Camps
Hofstra Classic Day Camps are held in the same classrooms, labs, studios, recreational fields, and other facilities that are utilized by Hofstra students.
Recreation Fields
During the summer, Hofstra's recreation fields become bustling hubs of activity. Campers engage in a variety of organized sports and games like soccer, kickball, capture the flag, and gaga.
Hofstra's recreation fields are also used for many of our special events such as Carnival, Slip & Slide Day, and Blue & Gold Day.
Modern Classrooms
Classrooms with traditional, theater style, or laboratory seating with collaborative spaces for groupwork, and state of the art technologies. Specialized rooms are equipped for computer coding, robotics, 3D printing, and more.
Hofstra Fitness Center
The newly renovated Fitness Center features Basketball courts, 40 state-of-the-art cardio pieces, 50+ Cybex strength training pieces, Cycle Studio, Yoga/Pilates Studio, and an indoor track.
Hofstra Swim Center
Hofstra's indoor Olympic-sized pool includes four diving boards, an underwater dive-tank observation window, two movable bulkheads, and accessible locker rooms.
Tennis Courts
Nine tournament-quality tennis courts, recently refurbished, enabling the Pride to conduct multiple flights at one time.
Adventure Education Course
Our course includes 9 high elements, including Space Loops, Islands, and Multivines. Campers are safely harnessed and supported by skilled staff.
Facilities for Sports Academy Camps
Hofstra Sports Academy Camps are held on the same playing fields used by the Hofstra University athletes and teams.
David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex
The 5,023 seat Hofstra Arena is air conditioned and hosts multiple basketball courts and flexible spaces.
Hofstra Physical Education Building
The 4,000-square-foot air-conditioned building is used for group gatherings, rainy day activities, dance, wrestling, and volleyball.
James M. Shuart Stadium
The 13,000-seat stadium features a FieldTurf system, replicating natural grass while reducing sports injuries.
University Field
Home of the Pride Men's Baseball program, featuring "Competition Turf" and sunken 70-foot dugouts.
Captains Soccer Field
Features a 120-yard by 74-yard FieldTurf surface, stadium lighting, and seating for 1,600 spectators.
Bill Edwards Softball Stadium
Sunken dugouts, new outfield sod, and bleacher seating for nearly 1,000 spectators.
Cindy Lewis Field Hockey Stadium
Features FieldTurf Hockey Gold, specifically designed for the highest levels of field hockey play.
Teague Ryan Wrestling Complex
Features new wrestling floor and wall mats, a cardio room, and a state-of-the-art sports medicine room.
Facilities for Nassau BOCES Programs
Nassau BOCES provides specialized facilities for career and technical education, including hands-on training in various professional fields.
Joseph M. Barry Career & Technical Education Center
Includes an automotive garage, carpentry shop, veterinary center, and culinary arts academy.
Long Island High School for the Arts (LIHSA)
Four dance studios, a 350-seat theater, audio-recording studios, film editing rooms, and art studios.
Brookville Environmental Center
Comprised of 20 acres, providing opportunities for adventure education, homestead ecology, and environmental studies.
Nassau BOCES Caumsett Center
Located at Caumsett State Park, this center encompasses 1,600 acres of diverse natural habitats, including forests and salt marshes.
