The documentary 14 Women follows the 14 female senators who were in the U.S. Senate from 2004-2006 as they govern while balancing their families, friends, staff, and work loads.

Sponsored by the Educate ‘08 Student Programming Committee and the Division of Student Affairs, supported by TrimWater, The Creative Coalition, and the “Message in a Bottle” campaign.

Battle of the Parties

12 - 2 p.m., Hofstra Recreation Center, North Campus

Hofstra’s College Republicans and Hofstra’s College Democrats will battle it out in a spirited but friendly series of games and activities, culminating in a tug-of-war competition. All students welcome to attend. Republicans wear red, Democrats blue.
