FAMILY GARDEN DEDICATION CEREMONY

Join Vice President W. Houston Dougharty, Demetrios Mihailidis, P’24, and Director of Grounds Fred Soviero for the Family Garden Dedication Ceremony. Hofstra Family Garden is a new garden dedicated to Hofstra parents and families – past, present & future. Hofbeats will perform.

Phil Hinds, University Photographer, will take your photo for free. We will upload the photos online at Hofstra Parents photo album. You will be able to download your photos next week.
TULIPS & TREES TOUR
2-3:30 p.m. ET
Starts in Front of Hofstra Hall, South Campus
Director of Grounds Fred Soviero and Assistant Director Michael Runkel will lead this outdoor tour of the Hofstra's Arboretum in full spring bloom. Fred has led the Arboretum tours for more than 30 years and has landscaped much of Hofstra’s grounds. You will see many varieties of tulips and trees in their spring splendor.
ONLY REGISTERED STUDENTS AND FAMILY MEMBERS MAY ATTEND. Because of the COVID guidelines, we have to keep a record of all registrants. IT IS IMPORTANT FOR REGISTERED FAMILIES TO LET US KNOW IF THEY DO NOT PLAN TO COME – WE CAN THEN ALLOW OUR WAITLISTED FAMILIES TO ATTEND. PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL VISITORS MUST COMPLETE THE MANDATORY HEALTH SCREENING PRIOR TO COMING TO CAMPUS AT https://www.hofstra.edu/safe-start/visitors.html . IN ADDITION, ALL VISITORS MUST FOLLOW HEALTH AND SAFETY PROTOCOLS LISTED ON THE SAFE START PAGE: https://www.hofstra.edu/safe-start/. Guests should not come if they are ill, they must wear masks and physically distance from other families.
