TULIPS, TREES, AND TEA
We cordially invite students and their parents, families, and friends to attend this free spring family event. Guests must register at the blue button above by noon on Wednesday, May 3, 2023.
Please note that we will offer two Museum of Art and Tulips & Trees Tours because of the record number of registrations. Registered participants will receive an email and will be randomly assigned to a tour. See the times below.

When We All Stand
Emily Lowe Gallery, Behind Emily Lowe Hall, South Campus
The exhibition, When We All Stand, focuses on the collective power of the arts to address complex issues in society and demonstrates the ability of art and artists to chart a path for social change. Artists included in the exhibition are Emma Amos, Molly Crabapple and the Equal Justice Initiative, For Freedoms, Miguel Luciano, Michele Pred, Hank Willis Thomas, and Sophia Victor.
TULIPS & TREES TOUR 1
12:30-1:30 p.m. Starts in Front of Hofstra Hall, South Campus Director of Grounds Mike Runkel will lead an outdoor tour of Hofstra Arboretum in full spring bloom. You will see many varieties of tulips and trees in their spring splendor. The tour will include a stop at the Hofstra Family Garden, a garden dedicated to “Hofstra parents – past, present & future.”FAMILY PHOTOS
1:30-2 p.m.
Front of Hofstra Hall, South Campus
The University Photographer will take your family photo for free. Please invite your Hofstra student to join you in the photo. We will upload the photos online at Hofstra Parents Facebook photo album and you will be able to download them.
