Welcome To Golf Camp 2013
For Girls and Boys Entering Grades 2-5 (Morning Specialty)
For Girls and Boys Entering Grades 6-9 (Afternoon Specialty)
Session 1: July 1 - 12
Our Golf specialty assists young golfers in the development of all phases and levels of the sport. Camp sessions will emphasize the 5 most important things to any golfer’s game. (Grip, Aim, Stance, Posture and Position) For the more accomplished golfers, the focus is on swing development and course management, including target, direction and distance control.
It is a great opportunity to learn the history of the game as well as its rules, expected etiquette and to build a proper golf swing foundation.
Our goal is to have each camper experience the enjoyment of this lifelong sport. All instruction takes place on special Hofstra fields designed for golf. Clubs for all ages and golf balls are provided.
Note: There is a $40 surcharge per session for additional materials and staff requirements.
Schedule
Half of the day consists of Golf and the other half in a recreation group of 8-10 campers in the same grade and gender for lunch, instructional swim and recreational sports.
