Welcome To Write-o-Rama 2013
Got ideas? Put pen to paper at Write-o-Rama!
For Girls and Boys Entering Grades 2-5 (Morning Specialty)
For Girls and Boys Entering Grades 6-9 (Afternoon Specialty)
Session 2: July 15 - 26
Session 3: July 29 - August 9
WANTED: Inquisitive minds, over-brimming with curiosity and passionate about personal expression! Willing to work collaboratively with others to investigate, write, edit and publish in any and all reading and writing genres.
Imagine a creative arts studio, designed to give campers the opportunity to explore their interests and show off their talents by producing and writing! Write-o-Rama is not a "one size fits all" camp – it's tailor-made for your child. Campers put out a newspaper each session that includes interviews, feature articles, photo collages, cartoons, poems and puzzles. During each camp session, children use the media of their choice when making scenery for a video they are shooting, or designing the cover of the book they just wrote. Your child will have the chance to work individually or collaboratively, with the guidance and encouragement of our dynamic staff.
Note: There is a $40 surcharge per session for additional materials and staff requirements.
