School of Communication Studios

The School of Communication in Dempster Hall has three production studios. These studios have been used for television shows, film productions, large events, commercial rental, and student extracurricular projects.
Studio A ia a three story, 3,750 square foot studio with 12 individualized controlled motor lighting grids. The lighting grids have 250+ dimmers with over 200 lighting fixtures available for use. Studio A has four Ikegami 388W broadcast cameras, a hard cyclorama wall, and full curtain.
Studio B is a two story, 1000 square foot studio with a fixed grid and 125 dimmers. The studio has a green screen cyclorama, full curtain, and wireless microphone and intercom units. Studio B has three Ikegami 388W cameras.
Studio C is a one story, 750 square foot "black box" studio with 50 dimmers. C is often used for insert shoots and classroom space.
In Breslin Hall is the Black Box studio used as a performance space for the Speech Communication and Rhetorical Study students. The Black Box studio has flexible staging, camera tracking, and 24 dimmers.
