The Student Experience

In the department, you’ll have access to the resources and opportunities you’ll need to enhance and extend your education.

A woman with long curly hair, wearing a black shirt, sits holding a clipboard and pen, attentively listening and talking to another person in an indoor setting.

Population health internships connect classroom learning with real-world practice across healthcare, public health, and community-based settings. Students gain hands-on experience with leading hospitals, health organizations, government agencies, and advocacy groups, developing practical skills, professional networks, and a deeper understanding of how health systems serve diverse populations. These experiences prepare graduates for impactful careers and advanced study across the health sector.
