Prospective students with at least 39 undergraduate credits in business from an accredited institution, including at least six credits in accounting, will find the Zarb School of Business’ Master’s degree in accounting the perfect way to prepare for New York State’s certified public accountant licensure exam and a fulfilling career in accountancy.

The M.S. in Accounting program, which is among an elite group in the nation that is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), is flexible so as to serve the needs of students. The degree may be pursued on a full- or part-time basis, classes are offered both day and evening, and some courses are available online.  Additionally, undergraduate course work may allow you to substitute some of the required courses.

As the U.S. economy revives, the job outlook for accountants is strong. The U.S. Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics projects 13% growth of jobs in this sector between now and 2022.
