The Center for Career Design and Development is a team of experts who support students' growth beyond the classroom. This resource helps students enhance job-seeking abilities, define professional goals, locate appropriate career opportunities or graduate programs, obtain employer references, and strengthen networking skills. All assistance is specially tailored to the professional and educational goals of each individual student. Students can access these services during drop in hours or by scheduling a one-on-one appointment in person, via Zoom, or by phone.

Programming & Events
We also partner to provide programming for the entire campus, which empowers Hofstra students to uncover their strengths, determine their path, and tell their story. If your student-run organization would like to partner with the Center for Career Design & Development to host a workshop or program, call us or submit a program request.
Once you are ready to share your strengths and tell your story, the Center for Career Design & Development facilitates connections with employers both online via Handshake and in person at Career Fairs, On Campus Recruiting, Information Sessions, Service Networking, and other creative events.
