Ceremony Attendance and Cap and Gown Orders Spring 2019

To confirm graduation ceremony attendance and order of academic attire, please visit www.hofstra.edu/academicattire. Simply follow the easy online instructions, carefully check the order and submit. An order confirmation will display. Orders for academic attire must be received by Monday, April 15, 2019.

ACADEMIC ATTIRE PICKUP

Academic attire pickup is Tuesday and Wednesday, May 14 and May 15 from the hours of 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. on the lower level of the Bookstore, Mack Student Center; and an hour before the ceremony on Sunday, May 19 at the Mack Physical Education Center (where you will be lining up). Please present your Hofstra ID card.

Maurice A. Deane School of Law graduation candidates can pick up their academic attire at the Mack Physical Education Center during the pickup times listed above or at 5 p.m. on Monday, May 20, 2019. You will also be issued your yellow card at line up.

Please remember to obtain your colored index card (schools and cards listed below) when you pick up your academic attire. This card will be used to place you in the procession, as well as to announce your during the commencement ceremony. Check the card to be sure your name is listed correctly. If you name is difficult to pronounce, please write it phonetically.

Check your academic attire package to be sure you have a cap, gown and tassel. This is for both undergraduate and graduates. Additionally, all masters, doctorates and Maurice A Deane School of Law Students will have a hood representing their school in their package.

There is no cost for the academic attire and it is retainable.

Ceremony Attendance and Cap and Gown Orders Midyear 2019

ACADEMIC ATTIRE PICKUP

Academic attire pickup is Wednesday and Thursday, December 11 and December 12 from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Location to be determined and an hour before the ceremony on  Thursday, December 19 , at the Mack Physical Education Center (where you will be lining up).  Please present your Hofstra ID card.
