As a sports management major working toward a BBA in Sports Management, you can specialize in one of three areas – sports analytics, sports management, or sports marketing. Choose a track that best suits your future career goals.
Sports Analytics Track
Take courses such as business analytics; forecasting; social media and web analytics; database management systems; data mining; and more.
Sports Management Track
Learn about sports operations and facilities management; litigation and alternate dispute resolution; eSports management; management of change and innovation in organizations; among other courses.
Sports Marketing Track
You will become an expert on digital marketing; social media marketing; marketing of services; and other areas related to sports marketing.
In the Classroom
Required classes include Practicum in Sports Management; Financial Analytics for Sports and Entertainment; Introduction to Sports Management; and Sports Marketing.
