Percussion Curriculum

Students are expected to develop proficiencies on all of the following instruments: snare drum, mallet keyboard instruments (xylophone, marimba, etc.), timpani and drum set.

Practice time is required on a day to day basis. Hofstra University provides practice facilities and instruments to all percussion students. Additional materials will be required as the student begins his or her private instruction.
