Microsoft Office365

Your employee e-mail account has changed.

Here's what you need to know to complete the transition

Over the weekend of April 20, the University transitioned to Office 365, a new version of the hosted services that provide Outlook e-mail and calendaring to the University's faculty, staff and administrators.

The new service provides each employee with 25 GB of storage for their e-mail account, a revamped Web Access experience (at email.hofstra.edu), easier integration with the latest smart phones and tablets, increased service reliability, and more.

We've prepared this transition guide to help you get up and running on Office 365. If you have questions or need assistance, please call the Help Desk at 516-463-7777, or e-mail help@hofstra.edu.

If you access your e-mail using Outlook on a Windows PC:

You'll now launch Microsoft Outlook directly from the Start Menu, instead of using the blue Sign In icon.
