Common Reading Essay Contest
Thank you for your interest in the Common Reading Essay Contest.

We invite you to submit an essay of not more than 750 words on any topic you wish having to do with our common reading, Jim Lehrer's Tension City. Your essay must be relevant to Tension City otherwise there are no restrictions on topic or style. The winner will receive an iPad and the runner-up an iTouch, both presented by Jim Lehrer on August 31st, 2012 during his Welcome Week address to the first-year class. In addition, essay contest winners will be invited to a small luncheon with Mr. Lehrer following his address to the first-year class.
