MHA In Focus: Marianne Grady, RN, BSN, MHA, Director Government Business Division Special Programs, MLTC NY

Marianne Grady is the Clinical Director of the Managed Long Term Care Plan at Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield. Ms. Grady has been with Empire for 9 years, having spent the majority of her more than 30-year nursing career in home health care settings before joining the organization. This previous experience has been instrumental in managing the MLTC population, who primarily reside in the community, and receive home based services. She has held multiple leadership positions in different home health care and long-term home health care programs in New York City and Long Island prior to her current position. She has extensive experience with Medicare, Medicaid and Managed Care regulations. Ms. Grady currently serves as the Secretary of the Board of the Home Care Association (HCA) of New York State, as well as on the Policy Council of HCA, and co-chair of the statewide HCA MLTC Forum. She also is a member of the School of Health Professions and Human Services Dean's Advisory Board at Hofstra. Ms. Grady has a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Adelphi University and a Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration from Hofstra University.
