Residencies

Our two-year cohort program has two four-day residencies where you will meet the other students that you will be working with, network with and build business relationships. You will also meet the various dedicated and engaging faculty members who will be teaching the program in addition to Zarb School administrators.

New York City

1st Residency: Orientation and The Local Connections

This residency, scheduled in late August for the cohort starting in the Fall semester, spans four days over a weekend and takes place mainly on the Hofstra campus. Activities and sessions during this residency introduce you to the program. Multiple workshops and sessions will familiarize you with the online learning environment and will prepare you for a successful start to the rigorous curriculum of a highly ranked MBA program. In addition, corporate visits are arranged in the New York area, providing networking opportunities with industry executives and notable alums.


New York City

2nd Residency: Capping the Program and Celebration

The second residency, conducted at the end of the 2nd year of the cohort-based program, will consist of an intense 3-4 day on-campus learning of a business capstone project through an integrative course. There will be interaction with industry panels, graduation events and activities, and local visits to companies in the New York area. This residency is designed to provide you with an outstanding experience of the on-campus culture and graduation events as you complete the program.
