One of our Admission Deans will be there in real time to share insights, answer your questions, and help you get to know Hofstra.
Next, hear directly from a Pride Guide (one of our current student tour guides) who will share what life is really like on campus and answer your questions about the student experience.

Auditions
The Hofstra Cheerleading program is a nationally recognized co-ed squad. The squad promotes school spirit for the University’s athletic teams, such as the men’s and women’s basketball teams. Cheer performances are also requested at University festivals and admission events. See when tryouts will be held.
An audition is required for the Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Dance. Additionally, students pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Dance will audition for placement in technique classes, and to determine Activity Grant awards. Get more information.
The Hofstra University Dance Team is an exciting and competitive collegiate dance team that performs at University athletic events as well as other events held on and off campus. See when tryouts will be held.
A portfolio review is required for students interested in the Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Production. Additionally, students interested in pursuing a BFA in Performance or Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Theater Arts will audition to determine initial offerings of Activity Grants to first-year students.
