Maria Santucci is a strategic communications leader who has spent 15 years helping health and digital media brands remain relevant and trusted during times of rapid growth and transformation. Currently the Head of External Communications at RVO Health, Maria leads the corporate narrative for the country’s largest health and wellness property, including Healthline and Healthgrades.

 Maria’s career is defined by her ability to guide legacy institutions through significant industry shifts. Prior to joining RVO Health, she led strategic PR and marketing campaigns for U.S. News & World Report’s flagship “Best Hospitals” and “Best Colleges” franchises and honed her expertise in high-stakes crisis communications at New York-Presbyterian Hospital and Rubenstein Associates.

As a former journalist, Maria’s newsroom-first approach to leadership began at Hofstra University as the Personnel Director for WRHU-FM. A Queens native, Maria is now based in Garden City with her family.

Daphne Jackson Hornbuckle is the Information Technology Manager for the North Texas Region at Spectrum, where she leads the desktop support organization delivering enterprise technical and project support. With more than a decade of experience in this role, she oversees IT service delivery, infrastructure planning, and implementation initiatives supporting multiple business units and operational priorities. Prior to joining Spectrum, Daphne founded Diamond Technology Group, LLC, an IT consulting firm serving American Airlines and other Fortune 500 clients. With over 25 years of experience in information technology and business leadership, she brings a strong track record in leadership excellence, infrastructure modernization, and strategic execution.

Daphne is a dedicated member serving on the Fred DeMatteis School of Engineering and Applied Science Advisory Board and Hofstra University’s Women in Leadership Advisory Board. Her support goes beyond guidance to the university, with the creation of the Daphne Jackson Hornbuckle Endowed Scholarship, which supports students who aspire to earn degrees in STEM. In October 2025, she received Hofstra University’s Alumni Achievement Award.

Daphne holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Hofstra University. This New York native resides in Dallas, TX with her husband, Jesse Hornbuckle, III. Together they own commercial and residential businesses. Outside of her passion for volunteering and mentoring, she enjoys traveling.

Danielle Dellilo is a media powerhouse with 27 years of experience—though she somehow still seems 26. A host, writer, producer, podcaster, and influencer, she’s known for her humor, energy, and passion for connecting with people.

Her career began at WRHU Radio at Hofstra University and has since included roles at VH1, WPLJ, WLIR, Radio Disney, ESPN Radio, and News 12. She currently co-hosts the iHeartRadio podcast Tales Over Cocktails and has appeared on Elvis Duran and the Morning Show, the KTU Morning Show, and 106.7 LITE FM. In 2019, she even opened for comedian Nicky Paris at Caroline’s on Broadway.

Now serving as Promotions, Public Relations, and Talent Relations Director for iHeartMedia New York, Danielle oversees events, contests, public affairs programming, public relations, and artist relations—while also teaching public relations at Hofstra University. A proud two-time Hofstra alum and 2024 Radio Hall of Fame inductee, she created the Danielle Dellilo Endowed Scholarship and is a dedicated advocate for ALS research in memory of her father. She was recently named a Woman of Impact for CaringKind’s 100 Women of Impact, a national movement advancing the future of brain health and well-being.

Kelly Elkowitz (b. 2001, New York) is a Brooklyn-based emerging artist whose work investigates the physicality of the human form through layered constructions. Drawing on anatomical structures, medical history, and the poetics of the physical form, Elkowitz creates visceral works that merge the internal and external.

 Elkowitz received her BA in Fine Arts from Hofstra University in 2023. In 2023 and 2021, she was twice awarded the Presidential Purchase Award where her works were acquired into the University’s permanent collection. Elkowitz has recently exhibited at CLEA RSKY, a project space in Brooklyn, as well as in numerous group exhibitions across Chelsea, the Lower East Side, and Bushwick, including at All Street Gallery, Pictor Gallery, and One-Eyed Studios. In 2021, she was commissioned to create the inaugural painting for President Susan Poser of Hofstra University – a graphic still used by the university today. Most recently, Elkowitz has exhibited her work at SLAG&RX this past June, in her debut solo exhibition, “Four Temperaments.” Elkowitz currently lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.

Elizabeth Velez spearheads the over half a century Velez Organization, one of the longest established and successful construction services firm.   The Velez Organization is ranked by Crains as the 10^th Largest Minority Owned Business in the New York Area, and the Largest Latino Construction firm.  To her credit is over fifty billion dollars of significant educational, healthcare, and large-scale projects throughout NY.  Today, Ms. Velez is a sought-after advocate by numerous public and private institutions on economic development, legislative issues, and the building industry.

Evy Poumpouras is a former U.S. Secret Service Special Agent and Interrogator, NBC Law Enforcement Analyst, television host, best-selling author, and CEO of the training platform Beyond Bulletproof. She is a recipient of the Medal of Valor Award for her actions during the September 11 attacks at the World Trade Center.

Evy began her career with the New York City Police Department before joining the U.S. Secret Service, where she protected Presidents William J. Clinton and George W. Bush and served on the personal details of President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama. In addition to protective operations, she conducted complex criminal investigations, worked undercover assignments, and traveled internationally on high-risk, high-stakes cases as a trained polygraph examiner and interrogator.

As NBC’s Law Enforcement Analyst, Evy provides expert analysis on breaking news involving crime, national security, and criminal justice. Recently, Evy completed filming SECRETS DECLASSIFIED for Nutopia and History Channel Her television work also includes appearances on History’s Greatest Mysteries, serving as a judge on Bravo’s SPY GAMES, a hunter on CBS’s THE HUNTED and a contributor to HLN’s DR. DREW ON CALL.

Evy is the author of Becoming Bulletproof: Protect Yourself, Read People, Influence Situations, and Live Fearlessly, an international best-seller published in multiple languages. Her writing has appeared in CNBC, MSNBC, Newsweek, Forbes, Fortune, The New Yorker, and Cosmopolitan.

Evy is a visiting lecturer in the MBA program at the Athens University of Economics and Business and spent a decade as an adjunct professor at the City University of New York teaching criminology and psychology.

She holds a Master of Science in Journalism from Columbia University, a Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Affairs.

Ms. Liane Sousa is currently an Account Executive at Wave Sports & Entertainment, representing some of the biggest voices in our culture, including Kylie Kelce’s podcast Not Gonna Lie and Carmelo Anthony’s podcast 7PM in Brooklyn. In this role, Liane creates multi-platform advertising sales packages for leading national brands, leveraging the company’s national audio and digital platforms along with its broadcast talent.

Liane’s accomplishments include being named to Radio Ink Magazine’s 30 Under 30 Superstars list, a leading radio industry trade publication. She is also a co-recipient of Hofstra’s Young Alumni Award, a member of the Alliance for Women in Media, and served as a judge for the 2024 Gracie Awards.

Prior to joining Wave Sports & Entertainment, Liane worked as Director of Affiliate Sales and Account Executive at Compass Media Networks. She was the first female Sports Director at Hofstra University’s four-time Marconi Award–winning radio station, WRHU-FM in New York. In that role, she oversaw all weekly and monthly sports programming, managed a 50-member department, and assigned nearly 300 game broadcasts.Liane also produced and distributed all New York Islanders games to ESPN Radio NY, SiriusXM, NHL.com, WRCN-FM, and WRHU-FM. Additionally, she worked at MLB Advanced Media in its live, in-game television production department, where she created multi-platform baseball content featured on FOX Sports and the YES Network.

A philanthropist at heart, Liane participates in the Cycle For Survival, a nationwide fundraiser that supports rare cancer research and clinical trials at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. This upcoming school year, she will also be supporting a backpack initiative to supply 500+ backpacks to K – 12th graders on Long Island through Operation Impact. Liane also serves as the President of the Hofstra Radio Alumni Association.
