The collection includes interviews with artists and residents conducted by Director Nancy Solomon, and other folklorists and ethnomusicologists that have worked for Long island Traditions since its founding in 1992. Also included in the collection are interviews conducted by Solomon when she worked at the Long Island Arts Council in Freeport from 1987–1991.
