Students in this week-long pre collegiate academy will experience a program designed like a college course led by industry professionals and educators. In a hands-on, collaborative environment, participants will learn the foundations of sports media while creating their own original content.

Throughout the week, students will develop skills in game analysis, on-air delivery, show hosting, and radio/podcast production. They will record sports segments covering different sports basketball, football, while learning how to prepare, write, and produce engaging broadcasts.

Working in Hofstra’s state-of-the-art television and audio studios, students will gain real-world experience, build confidence, and explore potential pathways in sports media and broadcasting.

There is an additional fee for transportation for one-week precollegiate camps.
