Note: A Medication Request Form must be filled out by your child's physician, and must either be sent into the camp office ahead of time or accompany the medication being dropped off.
Medication must be in the original container, including the label with your campers name, dosage, and the prescriber's name.
There is a whole world beneath the sea that most land creatures could never know. Campers get your gills ready to take a look under the sea. You will be engaged in hands-on studies of diverse marine habitats. Daily observations and specimen collection will provide a new insight to campers on how the marine world works.
Daily activites have included:
Seining
Saltmarsh Hike
Snorkeling
Horseshoe crab and Plankton studies
Notes: This program will take place at Nassau BOCES Caumsett Environmental Education Center. Students should bring swimsuits and/or a change of clothing. Transportation will be provided between Hofstra and Nassau BOCES Caumsett Environmental Education Center. Tuition inclusive of $250 non-refundable deposit.
